LYNDA TROMMELEN

Lynda holds a B.Sc. and M.Ed. from University of Toronto in Adult Education and Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP) from the Canadian Society for Training and Development, where she Chairs the Certification Committee. She also holds a M.B.A. in Human Resource Management. and CHRP designation with the Human Resource Professional Association of Ontario. She is a certified MBTI practitioner and incorporates respect for personality differences in all of her work.

During her career she has held many positions, starting out as a medical technologist, college faculty member and Director of Educational Development at the Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences in Toronto where she set up their Distance Education Dept. More recent positions have included the Director of Education at Hotel Dieu and St. Mary’s of the Lake Hospitals. As Assistant Executive Director – Human Resources & Organizational Development she guided the human resources initiatives through a significant period of change  and initiated the hospital’s web site and Intranet. 

Since its inception in 1998 Jolyn Enterprises has served a wide variety of clients including the Huron Perth Hospital Partnership, the Ontario Health Care Education Association, Kingston Friendship Homes, Queen's E-Quip, Marine Museum of the Great Lakes, Literacy Link of Eastern Ontario, APT Canada, Kingston Counseling Services, Downtown Kingston, the Southeastern Ontario Regional Geriatric Program, Capacity Builders and Opportunities Kingston.  She worked with the Ontario Hospital Association to co-ordinate the development of Knowledge Management initiatives and the creation Knowledge Networks, using Internet technology to link province wide "virtual" teams and  with the Southeastern Ontario Infolink Alliance to co-ordinate the development of a regional network among health service providers.

She is a former member of the  Board of the Kingston Technology Council,  President - Elect for Association for Psychological Type International and the Board Director for the Canadian Society for Training & Development.  She is also the author of the book People Puzzles,   available from Career & Life Skills Resources Inc.

JOHN TROMMELEN

John's expertise is in Computer Science with extensive first hand experience of computer systems and network security. His career evolved from his early days as a Programmer and later as a Systems Analyst to more recent years as a Senior Manager responsible for developing and managing of a large Information Technology System.   Major projects have included the planning and implementation of retro-fitting and testing related to Y2K readiness of a large computer system. 

He focuses on integrating people and technology in organizations and he has also designed and maintained web sites and supported the development of computer based education.

John brings his experience both as a manager and technical expert to the consulting service. He is interested with the possibilities offered by the Internet for the smaller business person and everyday consumer. He provides the technical expertise to People Puzzles, using the technology, to bring the content to life.
