BUILDING AND LEADING EFFECTIVE TEAMS

This course is designed to demonstrate to participants the impact that our natural preferences have on the working relationships within teams.  Through exercises and examples and discussion, participants will experience how type differences influence all aspects of team function from the early stages of team development, to the performance of a highly skilled work group. 

The course will then consider the factors found in highly effective teams and link these to the full spectrum of our natural preferences.  Participants will analyze teams to determine potential strengths and blind spots.  Tools will be introduced and used by participants to ensure all preferences are included and respected to optimize team performance.

This is a highly practical and experiential program that focuses on the leadership requirements to nurture and support successful teams.  The course provides participants with tools and strategies that can be employed with any workgroup.

COMMUNICATING FOR SUCCESS

This course is designed to demonstrate to participants the impact that our natural preferences have on the communication process.  Through exercises,  examples and discussion, participants will experience how type differences influence communication in   a variety of settings

The course considers the factors needed in a constructive process and links these to the full spectrum natural preferences.  Using case examples, participants will analyze the likely channels of communication to determine potential strengths and blind spots.  The course provides participants with tools and strategies that can be employed with any workgroup.

PLANNING STRATEGICALLY WITH TYPE

The purpose of this course is to introduce a type based model for strategic planning and demonstrate through examples how type can be used to guide the strategic planning process.  The model engages all of the functions and yields a broad yet detailed plan for strategic action.  The course provides additional tools and exercises to enhance the planning process as well as experiential opportunities for participants to apply it in their own settings.

NAVIGATING ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE

This course Is designed to introduce participants to the importance of recognizing organizational change as a grief  process, noting how individual’s react and respond differently to the experience. Through exercises and examples, participants will experience type differences related to a significant loss. They will then have the opportunity to use this knowledge to develop support strategies that they can implement in their organizations to respect different individual needs to successfully deal with loss and change. Discussion will consider dealing with change as a  grief process and recognizing the signs and symptoms related to the stress of change. Participants will be asked to develop a personal change plan that reflects the support that they need to become effective change managers.

TYPE IN THE WORKPLACE

This course is designed to demonstrate to participants the impact that our natural preferences have on our interaction in the workplace related to self-perception, group dynamics, leadership and organizational culture.  Through exercises,  case studies and discussion, participants will experience how type differences influence all aspects of our work life from establishing the norms and culture, to communication, leadership style and work applications.  The journey however begins by knowing ourselves and reflecting on our personal growth and development.  When we become more aware, we are better able to interact effectively with others and lead and inspire them to achieve their best.  The process of encouraging self awareness and supporting type development will be considered through case studies.

This is a highly practical and experiential program that focuses on applying our knowledge of type in the workplace.  The course provides participants with tools and strategies that can be used to create and maintain a positive work environment and help tap the special gifts that each person brings to work with them every day.  Our focus will be the constructive use of differences in multiple work applications from human resource management to the support of personal growth and awareness.

ALL STRESSED OUT? - THE TYPE PRESCRIPTION

One person's stress can be another person's excitement.  This course is designed to demonstrate how our natural preferences affect our experience of stress and our ability to cope with it.  Through exercises, examples and discussions, participants will experience how type differences can create stress and impact on our interactions with others.  The importance of type development to enhance our coping responses will also be considered.

Tools to help relieve stress and recreate balance will be introduced and participants will be encouraged to adapt them for their own needs.  Developing a personal action plan to create balance and support positive interventions will be an outcome of this program.
