4. As a functional team, how much did you work with your teammates in cyberspace?

Communication through emails was wonderful and challenging.  Great to connect when the idea strikes, even if it’s 4:00am.  Wonderful to connect with everyone with one email.

Not getting group feedback was at times frustrating.  However, immediacy only prevailed once and an actual phone call was made.

I notified my OAAPT list of emails of the event.

Sharing ideas, dividing up tasks, updating on progress

Not a lot, just when needed.  Love being in contact, make very little effort to keep contact, if any.  Work provided the means and reasons (eg: newsletter, deadlines etc.)

I'm just starting to do this (writing an article for the online Newsletter).  It's been very easy to communicate with the editor / coordinator of the Newsletter.  Without the cyberspace technology I'd be dealing with long-distance phone bills and time changes.  The technology eliminates these hassles. The technology is also an equalizer in the sense of participation.  At meetings (or even conference calls) I would not contribute as many ideas as I do through email

I felt limited but offered small support and encouragement to the key players.

Emails – lots of them,  phone calls only when all else failed. A private working web site to give us a common workplace to share information.

A public site where we could express our identity to other Canadian type users and begin to connect them.

- I had more contact with some team members than others – the contact was generated through work for the on-line newsletter – all contact was effective and timely

Keeping in touch, appreciating people for their work.

I thought that the teamwork was great and well worth repeating.

I am still amazed at how well we all work together.  None of us knew each other well, if at all and, yet, we operate as if we have known and worked together for a long time.  The Conference Calls have brought us together.  Regular e-mails keep us current.  Working together to plan another Teleconference and Newsletter keep us focused.
