Common Goals: Desire to grow and expand awareness of APT Canada. Willingness to try out new technologies, (ie: not
afraid of the unknown.) Love of Type: Interest in connecting with other type enthusiasts.
“An excitement and inner belief that we would succeed” – A shared
vision. The ability to work
independently, sharing information as required. I felt odd man out. |
A common goal, knowing that we are all part of the
Canadian region (and the similar issues which arise there from), a chance
to connect and respond to the current topics. |

Purpose, leadership,
perseverance. Hands
down the trust in the leadership. Her confidence and ease with the
technology was a model for the rest of us. Her reassurances that it would
be easy and her reminders that we were all travelling this new road
together kept me interested. |

The sense of adventure,
sense of value, shared
skills and confidence from our key leaders. |
The desire to connect our Canadian type colleagues
and willingness to experiment to make it happen.
Strong sense of fun and camaraderie. |

Strong
leadership and a common focus – a respect for people’s time and
commitments to other things |
Common goal, desire to learn. The conference calls,
the e-mails, the great
leadership, the ample
opportunity to be participative, the
email newsletter. |
See 4 above. Also,
I cannot emphasize enough how the leadership style has kept us moving
forward and really enjoying being a team despite not having face-to-face
meetings. I am really looking
forward to the APT International Conference this year so that I can get
together with any Canadian members who attend.
Would I be so motivated to go to the conference without this
prospect, I wonder? |
